The Travel Information and Tourism Center (TITC) reported that Vietnamese Pho (Vietnamese noodle soup) has secured the second position on CNN’s renowned travel website’s list of the 20 most delectable dishes worldwide.

Vietnamese Pho typically comprises beef or chicken paired with flat, chewy noodles. Its broth, simmered for hours with an array of herbs like cinnamon, anise, and cardamom, imbues the dish with a delightful, aromatic essence. Often served with garnishes such as green onions, fresh herbs, lemon, chilli, vinegar, and stir-fried condiments, Phở caters to individual tastes.
According to Andrea Nguyen, author of « The Pho Cookbook », Vietnamese noodle soup stands out as one of Vietnam’s most highly promoted dishes internationally and serves as an emblematic representation of Vietnamese cuisine. Currently, beef Pho remains the most favoured version in Vietnam, boasting various options like rare beef, cooked beef, rolled rare beef, or paired with tendons. Additionally, chicken Pho and vegetarian Pho cater to diverse preferences.

Vietnamese Pho has garnered widespread adoration globally, with its presence transcending borders and captivating diners worldwide. Its inclusion in the Cambridge Dictionary as a noun further solidifies its status as a culinary gem of Vietnamese heritage.
